Tech Trek Tulsa STEM camp for girls set to begin June 14

• Thirty six rising 8th grade girls and alternates from the Tulsa region have been selected to attend this week long residential STEM camp sponsored and funded by AAUW, TRSA, Schusterman Foundation, Flight Night, Verizon and TU in addition to many individual donors.
• Core curriculum topics have been finalized: Mathematics of Cryptography, Programming Mobile Apps, Engineering Design with Little Bits, Nano-science using a scanning tunneling microscope (STM) and the scanning electron microscope (SEM).
• The busy week long schedule will include workshops, fields trips, and career explorations to complement the classroom and laboratory experiences.
