Exponential Growth

Math Institute

Transform your mathematical teaching and learning while building long-lasting relationships with other math educators across the Tulsa Region.  Exponential Math Professional Development is a year-long in-depth professional development that will help you provide students with rich and relevant mathematical experiences through hands-on learning, elevation of students’ math mindset, and integration of math and literacy. This cohort has a three-year rotation cycle where first-year participants are given priority in the cycle. Each new cohort will have a two-day summer institute with two additional follow-up sessions.  (one in the fall and one in the spring.)

Join Nationally recognized Professor of Mathematics Dr. Martha Parrott who will lead you through a learning journey using research-informed best practices in mathematical education.  Dr. Parrott is an Assistant Dean at Gregg Wadley College of Science and Health Professions at Northeastern State University in Broken Arrow, OK. She is a DaVinci Fellow, Creative and Innovative Teaching Chair, and also holds an M. Ed. Mathematics Education.
