Koch Engineered Solutions has established an outstanding partnership with Ellen Ochoa Elementary School. Their unwavering support has played a pivotal role in enhancing the school’s STEM programming and facilitating enriching student experiences. Through financial resources, mentorship opportunities, and access to cutting-edge technologies, KES has ignited a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics among the students at Ellen Ochoa Elementary.

Through our Me and My Math Mentor program, KES has played a crucial role in supporting students’ mathematical development, boosting their self-confidence, and fostering a love for problem-solving. Through their dedicated team of mentors, they provide personalized guidance and encouragement, empowering students to excel in their mathematical journey and life.

In addition to its overall dedication to advancing STEM education, KES goes above and beyond in its support for students in extraordinary ways. They have demonstrated their commitment to student success by providing custom holiday-themed puzzles, which make learning fun and foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Moreover, their innovative approach extends to 3D printed manipulatives, specifically designed to support students with pattern recognition in multiplication and division, offering hands-on learning experiences that enhance understanding and retention.

KES truly understands the importance of removing barriers to student engagement. In a remarkable example of their commitment, they 3D printed a piece of a student’s glasses that had broken, ensuring the uninterrupted vision and fully enabling the student to participate in their educational activities. This thoughtful gesture showcases their dedication to empowering students and creating inclusive learning environments.

Furthermore, KES actively contributes to the success of English language learners by recruiting and pairing them with bilingual employees.
