• Ten modules developed by STARBASE for a project with TPS are available for area teachers and mentors. Sample modules are: How to Draw a Fighter Jet; Indy Card Car – Engineering Design Process in Motion; and Ten Second Tower using the Engineering Design Process.  Each module has Lesson Objectives, Estimated Time, Materials List, Instructor Preparation, Lesson Introduction, Activity Directions, and What Did we Learn.  Also includes relevant standards. • OERB curriculum review resulted in pilot project to start in the Spring.
• Discussed potential synergy with Ray Shanik and techJOYnet, an Oklahoma City based group. Mission is to empower students through STEM education utilizing experiential learning, i.e. students experience activity, and then learn the math & science behind it.
