Educators at previous Exponential Math sessions

Led by Dr. Martha Parrott of Northeastern State University, teachers in this extensive, multi-day institute will discover exciting ways to empower students with mathematical freedom while putting down deep roots in research-informed best practices for teaching mathematics.

Workshop Dates:  

Accepted applicants are expected to attend both full days in the summer and both follow-up days in the fall and spring. Please do not apply if you are unable to attend all session dates for your chosen cohort.

Current & Aspiring Instructional Leaders Cohort: 

  • May 30-31, 2024 (8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.)
  • Follow-up Day- October 10, 2024 (5-8 p.m.)
  • Follow-up Day- February 1, 2025 (9 a.m.-Noon)

K-2nd Cohort:  

  • July 8-9, 2024 (8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.)
  • Follow-up Day- October 24, 2024 (5-8 p.m.)
  • Follow-up Day- February 15, 2025 (9 a.m.-Noon)

3rd-5th Cohort:  

  • July 11-12, 2024 (8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.)
  • Follow-up Day- November 7, 2024 (5-8 p.m.)
  • Follow-up Day-March 1, 2025 (9 a.m.-Noon)

6th-8th Cohort: 

  • July 18-19, 2024 (8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.)
  • Follow-up Day-November 14, 2024 (5-8 p.m.)
  • Follow-up Day-March 8, 2025 (9 a.m.-Noon)
Who: 

Open to current K-8th grade teachers and K-12th grade instructional leaders in the Tulsa metro area.

Location:

Northeastern State University – BA Campus, 3100 New Orleans Street, Broken Arrow, OK 74014

Cost:

FREE! Tuition, materials, and lunches/dinners are all included. Teachers will receive a $450 stipend upon full attendance.
