On Saturday, March 25, more than 50 teams from across Oklahoma participated in our SeaPerch Challenge, a robotics competition that involves designing, building, and operating an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV).

At the competition, students participated in an interview with professional engineers to talk through their design process and then tested their ROV’s performance in a series of underwater challenges. These challenges include navigating an underwater obstacle course and a real-world-themed mission course inspired by this year’s mission theme, “Ocean Exploration.” Learn more about the program here.
