This quarter, students and educators continued to explore, create, and innovate through hands-on STEM experiences. Across Tulsa and Oklahoma, our programs are opening doors to curiosity, building skills, and sparking a lifelong love of learning.
Our Q3 recap celebrates the incredible impact made possible by our dedicated team, passionate volunteers, and supportive network of donors and collaborators. Together, we’re expanding access, fostering innovation, and empowering the next generation of STEM leaders.
Youth Impact
Our commitment to sparking hands-on engagement remained strong this year. Through TRSA-led programs, more than 22,000 youth experienced STEM in action—exploring, creating, and discovering new possibilities. Beyond direct programming, our efforts to equip educators and partners with high-quality resources and professional development indirectly serve over 65,000 students statewide, amplifying the impact of STEM learning across Oklahoma.

Educator Impact
Investing in youth means investing in educators—and that’s exactly what we’ve done this year. So far, 867 educators have participated in 28 dynamic professional development events, representing more than 2,900 hours of impactful learning. To make high-quality STEM instruction even more accessible, our STEM Shoppe lending library equipped 51 schools and education organizations with essential materials and equipment—resulting in a collective savings of more than $143,000.

Programming & Impact

Over this last summer, sixty teachers gathered at Northeastern State University, ready to rethink what math teaching could look like. They weren’t there for a typical workshop. They were stepping into a year-long experience designed to transform not just mindsets but also set them up for success as they work to impact every learner who joins their classrooms.

When Claremore educator Vona Cardwell was named the 2025 Siegfried STEM Educator of the Year, she credited her success to the community around her. From building inclusive STEM programs for students of all abilities to creating partnerships that bring learning to life, Cardwell has cultivated a thriving ecosystem of curiosity and belonging—one that proves innovation starts with inclusion.

On September 18, more than 700 guests gathered at Tulsa Tech’s Riverside Campus to celebrate the 12th annual Flight Night, an evening dedicated to advancing STEM education and honoring the incredible educators who inspire young minds across Oklahoma.
