STEM Program Innovation & Professional Learning Cohort

Ready to strengthen an existing STEM program or bring a new STEM learning experience to life? The STEM Program Innovation & Professional Learning Cohort is a one-month professional learning experience designed to help out-of-school-time (OST) educators and organizations create engaging, high-quality STEM experiences for youth.
Through two virtual learning sessions and one hands-on, in-person workshop, participants will gain practical strategies, tools, and resources to strengthen STEM facilitation, refine curriculum, design engaging learning experiences, and build a plan for implementation. Participants will also collaborate with fellow OST providers to share ideas, learn from one another, and strengthen STEM opportunities across Oklahoma.
Participants who complete required cohort milestones and training sessions will receive micro-grant funding to support the implementation of the STEM program or learning experience developed through the cohort.

Who Should Participate?
Participation is open to educators and organizations that:
- Currently operate STEM out-of-school-time (OST) programs
- Provide STEM curriculum or program design support
- Are interested in launching new STEM OST programming
Participation Commitment
By registering for this cohort, participants agree to:
- Actively participate in all required cohort sessions and complete associated learning activities and milestones.
- If not already a MOMENTUM partner, become a MOMENTUM partner and launch the STEM program or learning experience developed through the cohort as a MOMENTUM pilot program.
- Join Oklahoma’s statewide network of organizations using digital badges to recognize youth achievement and issue MOMENTUM digital badges to eligible participants who successfully complete STEM learning experiences.
Participation in the cohort, professional learning, and associated micro-grant funding is contingent upon fulfilling these commitments.
