Full description

Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance is hosting a one-day professional development workshop for educators who want to start a SeaPerch team.

SeaPerch is an underwater robotics competition. Student teams design and build a remotely operated vehicle (ROV). Then they pilot it through challenges modeled on underwater researchers’ work: navigating shipwrecks, moving around coral reefs, and collecting samples.

What you’ll get

  • Hands-on practice building a SeaPerch ROV
  • Guidance on coaching a student team through the season
  • A free SeaPerch ROV kit for your team to keep for the season
  • A $100 stipend for attending

Middle and high school teams can qualify for the International SeaPerch Challenge in May 2027.
