The Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance is partnering with Cox Media Group (CMG) to provide four weeks of hands-on, curiosity-driven activities during the month of STEMtember to help grow a love of science, technology, engineering and math in Green Country students and families. Each week will offer free virtual experiences for students and teachers, and some weeks will include a physical component.

Launching the first week, the ONEOK Family Night is a month-long adventure at the Gathering Place that features STEM activities in the park, and experiments families can take home to complete. Our Teacher Appreciation Night powered by TD Williamson is a virtual event taking place during the second week featuring a panel of experts to discuss diversity and inclusion in the classroom, and give teachers practical tips to implement. The third week is the Partner Video Release, featuring 5- and 10-minute videos that focus on Green Country industries and an interactive demonstration of how they use STEM in their careers. The final week is the Flight Night Back to School STEM Expo featuring a series of STEM activities that can be completed at home through a virtual guide or STEM in Bag kits that can be picked up from specific locations.
