Girls Robotics Workshop

Calling all girls in grades 6-10! Join us for a FREE robotics workshop where you’ll discover the incredible world of STEM and the amazing women who are leading the way. 🤖

Meet inspiring guest speakers and learn from a panel of inspiring women in STEM. Then, roll up your sleeves and get hands-on with robotics! Work in teams to build and program your own robot to tackle exciting challenges. This is your chance to explore computer science and robotics first-hand and see what you can achieve! Don’t miss out on this fun and empowering opportunity.

Participate in a day of robotics exploration and choice! Girls across Oklahoma are invited to apply to participate in this event completely free of charge. Participants will receive breakfast, lunch, and gift bags.

Volunteer With Us

Are you passionate about championing the incredible accomplishments of women in STEM and helping young girls see themselves in these fields? By volunteering, you’ll play a vital role in empowering the next generation of innovators, ensuring they feel welcomed, inspired, and capable of pursuing their own STEM dreams.

Volunteer Shift(s)

Morning Shift: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM (5 volunteers needed)

  • Assist with check-in
  • Help teams complete an independent STEM in a Bag activity during registration
  • Engage with students during team robot building

Afternoon Shift: 12:30 PM – 5:30 PM (5 volunteers needed)

  • Help teams test and adjust robot designs
  • Assist with friendly competitions
  • Support with dismissal
Meals Provided
  • Breakfast: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM
  • Lunch & Women in STEM Panel: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
How to Sign Up:
  • New Volunteers: If you’re new to volunteering with us, please complete our volunteer application. Be sure to select the Women in STEM Robotics Workshop under assignment preferences at the bottom of the form. We’ll follow up with you to confirm your shift and handle the necessary background screening.
  • Returning Volunteers: Log in to your volunteer portal, visit the “Schedule” tab, and scroll to November 9 to sign up for your preferred shift.
