Ecosystem Engagement
Our goal is to create an interconnected, mutually reinforcing, and responsive community that values, promotes, and strengthens STEM education for all youth. Our ecosystem is full of diverse, creative, and informed individuals, and their input is vital to the success of our work.
We believe in creating an inclusive and collaborative environment where your voice matters. Whether you’re new to our organization or a long-time partner, we offer a variety of ways to stay involved with our work. We have structured our initiatives into progressive levels of engagement: Inform, Engage, and Lead. These levels are designed to increase involvement and impact opportunities as you navigate our ecosystem.
Through these engagement experiences, we strive to keep our stakeholders informed about our initiatives, developments, and progress. We provide updates, share relevant information, and ensure transparency through regular communication channels, fostering a sense of inclusion and enabling stakeholders to stay up-to-date with our ecosystem.
Engage
Through these engagement experiences, we actively seek input, feedback, and collaboration from our stakeholders. We create opportunities for dialogue, solicit ideas, and encourage participation in workshops, surveys, and focus groups. By engaging stakeholders directly, we aim to foster meaningful relationships, co-create solutions, and ensure that their perspectives and voices are heard and valued.
We invite you to join our open ad hoc committees and actively collaborate with like-minded individuals to address specific challenges and seize new opportunities. Ad hoc committees are dynamic teams assembled for a specific purpose, bringing together diverse expertise, perspectives, and experiences. By joining these committees, you have the chance to contribute your unique skills and insights to drive meaningful change and achieve tangible outcomes.

In partnership with The Opportunity Project (The Opp), MOMENTUM is an ecosystem-wide movement to create equitable opportunities and systemic change in how youth across northeast Oklahoma experience science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
Traditional classrooms aren’t the only places students gain valuable STEM skills. Youth are exposed to STEM both in and out of school, building confidence and mastery across a myriad of applications. Out-of-school time (OST) STEM programs are important pathways to learning, but experiential knowledge is not readily recognized by educational institutions or employers; no grades are given, and no transcripts are printed. No formal documentation means that students with hands-on experience without the typical credentials might be left behind for future STEM opportunities, especially youth from marginalized groups or disinvested communities.
Through MOMENTUM, partners can offer digital badges, allowing for a more detailed view of the student’s learning journey. Additionally, this initiative helps those providers elevate and increase opportunities available to Tulsa-area youth through professional learning, resources, evaluations, data sharing, and STEM Hubs.

These engagement experiences signify a deeper level of involvement and influence. Together, we take proactive steps to drive change, set industry standards, and influence policy decisions. Through thought leadership, shared resources, and collective action, we aspire to shape the ecosystem and guide its future trajectory.
Advisory Councils play a pivotal role in our organization by bringing together diverse individuals who provide invaluable recommendations, demonstrate exceptional leadership, and collaboratively develop innovative solutions. Their collective expertise and strategic insights guide our decision-making processes, ensuring that we effectively address challenges and capitalize on opportunities. Through their active participation, advisory councils contribute to developing and implementing actionable solutions that drive positive change and help us achieve our organizational goals.
Our Advisory Councils are made up of six groups. Each group includes up to twelve members, and chairperson terms are limited to one year. In addition, a seventh group consists of the chairpersons from the other six groups.
