The Oklahoma State Department of Education has announced the availability of grants to new and existing FIRST Robotics Teams at all Oklahoma Public Schools. A Grant of $5000 will be available to new teams and grants of lesser amounts will be awarded to existing teams both of which will be awarded on a competitive basis.

Two Information Meetings are scheduled for anyone (teachers, administrators, parents, students, etc) interested in obtaining information on starting a new team. One Meeting is at Memorial High School in Tulsa on August 8 and the other is at Edmond Sante Fe High School in Edmond on August 15. More details can be found here: www.ok.gov/sde.
