Tulsa Engineering Challenge (TECh)

A hands-on engineering event for 4th-12th grade students

Visit the Tulsa Engineering Foundation page for full information.

TECh is as a hands-on event where students in grades 4th – 12th compete in activities such as Toothpick Bridge, Rubber-Band Powered Vehicle, Ping-Pong Ball Launcher, Robot, Wacky Wonder Works, Electric Motor, Chemical Switch, and more.

The theme this year is Engineers Dream Big – Every project, great or small, starts with a dream.  A dream to create and build.  Engineers engage their creativity and technical know-how to transform dreams into reality.  They are dreamers across the professional spectrum from transportation, to agriculture, to medicine and beyond.

The Discovery Lab at the Tulsa Children’s Museum is offering special workshops to help classrooms and teams gain basic engineering principles for several of the competitions.   They are offering Classroom Workshops, Team Workshops and Drop-In Workshops.

This year TECh encourages you to dream and to Dream Big!
